Contracto generates professionally structured contract templates based on the jurisdiction and governing law you select. These documents are legally informed templates, not legal advice. For high-value or complex agreements, we always recommend independent legal review from a qualified solicitor in your jurisdiction.

Why is there a watermark on my contract?

Accepted Answer

Anonymous (unregistered) users receive a heavily watermarked PDF. Verified users with a free account receive a lightly watermarked PDF. Upgrading to Pro or Team removes all watermarks and produces a clean, client-ready document.

How do I remove the watermark?

Upgrade to Pro (£29/month) or Team (£49/month) to generate watermark-free PDFs. You can also purchase a Single contract (£9 one-time) for a clean, watermark-free download without a subscription.

Can I save my contracts?

Accepted Answer

Verified, Pro, and Team users can access their full contract history from the dashboard at any time. Anonymous users do not have contract storage. Pro and Team users can also generate shareable links — Team users additionally get breach protection clauses and extended expiry options.

What happens if I exceed my contract limit?

Limits reset on the 1st of each month. Anonymous users can generate 1 contract per month. Verified (free) users get 3 per month. Pro users get 30 and Team users get 150. You'll be prompted to upgrade if you reach your limit before the reset.

How is my data protected?

Your contracts are stored securely using Supabase with row-level security — only you can access your documents. We do not sell your data, we do not train AI models on your contracts, and you can delete your contract history at any time from your dashboard.

Single contract purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Pro and Team subscriptions include a 30-day guarantee on your first payment. If you're not satisfied with the contract quality, email us for a full refund — no forms, no questions asked.

We accept GBP, EUR, and USD. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which handles all currency conversion and VAT automatically. You will be charged in your local currency at checkout.
